Coloplast delays introduction of new incontinence system

Originally scheduled for release within the financial year ending in september this year, Coloplast now expects the FDA clearence of its Intibia system no earlier than october next year.

Coloplast has been forced to delay the introduction of their incontinence system Intibia.

According to the newest quarterly report, Intibia is now expected to launch in the US in the beginning of the financial year of 2027/2028, which begins in october next year.

Intibia is an implantable tibial nerve stimulatory system for urge urinary incontinence, which the Danish ostomy company obtained through the acquisition of Nine Continents in 2020.
